Adults Social Worker- Mental Health [Bolton]

Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Mental Health Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

\n
• Undertake Care Act assessments, reviews, and strengths-based support planning for adults with mental health needs.
\n
• Promote recovery, independence, and wellbeing through person-centred interventions and outcome-focused practice.
\n
• Manage safeguarding concerns and undertake risk assessments to ensure the safety and protection of vulnerable adults.
\n
• Apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and other relevant legislation to support decision-making and best outcomes.
\n
• Work collaboratively with service users, carers, NHS Mental Health Services, and multidisciplinary partners to coordinate effective support.
\n
• Maintain accurate case records, reports, and statutory documentation while managing a complex caseload.
\n

Requirements of this role:

\n
• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
\n
• Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
\n
