WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Position: Warehouse OperativeLocation: Milton ParkSalary: £16.65 per hourOur client is a leading organisation in the logistics industry, dedicated to providing exceptional service and efficiency in supply chain management. This is a 12-week temporary 2 permanent role working the late shift 2pm - 10pm with weekends on a rota basis.

The Role:As a Warehouse Operative, you will join the dynamic logistics team, handling both hand ball work and lifting, before transitioning to picking tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and timely delivery of goods.Main Responsibilities:* Performing hand ball work and lifting tasks to manage incoming and outgoing goods.* Transitioning to picking tasks to accurately fulfil orders.* Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and stored.* Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.* Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.* Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets.* Reporting any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.* Assisting with inventory management as required.About You:Applicants should possess strong physical stamina and a keen eye for detail. Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is essential. Proficiency in basic computer skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately are also required.
