Class 2 Driver - Kettering

Job Role:

• Completing multi-drop Home Deliveries into customers’ homes
\n
• Working as part of a 2-person crew (alongside a Drivers Mate)
\n
• Delivering a range of bulky household goods (White Goods up to 80kg, furniture, electricals etc)
\n
• Completing between 35-45 deliveries per shift
\n
• Providing excellent Customer Service – being friendly when delivering, calling ahead to customers etc.
\n

Requirements for the role:

\n
• Category C1 (7.5t) Driving License
\n
• Valid CPC and Tacho Cards
\n
• Physically fit – Lifting aids will be provided along with manual handling training, however the role will require you to lift heavy goods up flights of stairs and into customers homes.
\n
• Friendly, polite nature – you will be the face of the business!
\n

Shift Times & Pay Rates:

\n
• 06:00 start time
\n
• Shift length will vary as the position is “Job & Knock” – Meaning that you finish whenever the deliveries are completed.
\n
• Average shift length will be around 10-12 hours.
\n

Shift Pattern

\n
• Tuesday till Saturday 06:00 am
\n
• Sunday till Thursday 06:00 am
\n

Initial Pay Rate: £15.31 per hour

Overtime Pay Rate: £21.35 per hour
