\nLocation: Horsham (Office-based, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm with option to consolidate hours and finish at 3 on a Friday)
\nSalary: £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)

\nThe Role
\nThis is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical mortgage administration with people management and process improvement.
\nYou'll continue to utilise your mortgage administration expertise and get stuck in supporting mortgage advisers, whilst taking responsibility for leading, supporting and developing the Mortgage Administration Team.
\nYou'll work closely with Mortgage Advisers and senior management, ensuring cases progress efficiently, service levels remain high, and the team has the support and guidance needed to succeed.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and support the Mortgage Administration Team on a day-to-day basis. \n
- Allocate workloads effectively, ensuring priorities and deadlines are met. \n
- Monitor team performance, productivity and quality standards. \n
- Conduct regular coaching, training and ongoing support for team members. \n
- Act as the first point of escalation for complex cases and administration queries. \n
- Oversee mortgage cases from application through to completion, ensuring excellent client service throughout. \n
- Work closely with advisers, lenders and providers to ensure cases progress smoothly. \n
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with FCA and company compliance requirements. \n
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and the overall client journey. \n
- Work alongside the Operations Manager to implement improvements and support continued business growth. \n

- Salary of £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience. \n
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing annually to 25 days. \n

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience within mortgage administration. \n
- Strong understanding of the mortgage process from application through to completion. \n
- Experience leading, mentoring or supervising colleagues, or a genuine desire to move into a leadership role. \n
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. \n
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to support, coach and motivate a team. \n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to improve processes and manage competing priorities. \n
- Someone who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships and delivering outstanding service. \n
