Field Service Engineer - Pumps (Mechanical/Electrical)?? South West Coverage ?? £32,000-£43,000 DOE + Overtime + Company Van + BenefitsWe are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing engineering business specialising in the service, installation, and maintenance of pump systems across sectors including commercial, water treatment, utilities, and manufacturing.Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their South West service team.The RoleThis is a varied, hands-on field-based role where you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of industrial pump systems at customer sites across the region.Working independently and alongside a wider engineering support team, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and delivering excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesService, maintain, and repair: Centrifugal pumpsSubmersible pumpsPositive displacement pumpsDiagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on-siteCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Install and commission new pump systems and associated equipmentProvide technical support and advice to customersComplete service reports and documentation accuratelyEnsure all work is carried out safely and in line with company proceduresAbout YouWe are looking for a motivated and customer-focused engineer with strong fault-finding ability and previous experience working within a field service environment.Essential Skills & ExperienceExperience working on industrial or commercial pump systemsStrong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skillsBackground in field service, maintenance, or installation engineeringGood understanding of hydraulics and rotating equipmentFull UK driving licenceExcellent customer communication skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyDesirable QualificationsIPAF CertificationConfined Space Training18th Edition Electrical QualificationWhat's on OfferCompetitive basic salary of £40,000 - £43,000Overtime paid at enhanced ratesCompany van, fuel card, and tools providedOngoing training and development opportunitiesPension scheme and holiday allowanceVaried work across multiple industries and customer sitesLong-term career prospects within a growing engineering businessThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working autonomously, and delivering high-quality service within a specialist engineering environment.TPBN1_UKTJ
