Family Solicitor

We are seeking a confident and experienced Family Solicitor to manage a varied private family law caseload independently. The successful candidate will work as part of the wider family team.

As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for:

\n
• Managing divorce, separation, financial remedy and private children matters
\n
• Advising on cohabitation disputes, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements and protective injunctions
\n
• Handling TOLATA matters where appropriate, with TOLATA experience being ideal
\n
• Supervising and developing junior staff
\n
• Supporting the wider family team
\n
• Attending networking events and assisting with business development
\n
• Contributing to the continued growth of the Doncaster office and the wider firm
\n

The ideal candidate:

\n
• Ideally 8+ years’ PQE in family law, although strong candidates with relevant experience will be considered
\n
• Experience in both children and financial remedy matters
\n
• TOLATA experience is ideal
\n
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
\n
• Excellent client care, drafting and communication skills
\n
• Strong commercial awareness and a good billing record
\n
• Experience or willingness to supervise and develop junior colleagues
\n
• Willingness to network and assist with business development
\n
• Ambition to grow within the firm
\n
• Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office
\n
• A professional, organised and team-focused approach.
\n
