Field Service Engineer£48-50K basic + £4.8K car allowance + Overtime (OTE up to £70K with O/T) and Excellent benefitsWe have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join a world-leading engineering organisation specialised in the design and manufacture of high-power capital equipment and special purpose machinery used in various industries.As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and repair of the companys high power industrial machines/equipment at customers sites worldwide.Although a Field position, however the successful candidate must be based within a commutable distance to the company in Basingstoke. When you are not at customers sites, you will be required to carryout tests and repairs at the HQ in Basingstoke. Your time will be split 50:50 between travelling and working at the HQ.Experience/Skills required for the Field Service EngineerPrevious electrical repair/service experience preferably gained in a field service roleExperience in a manufacturing/industrial environment servicing and commissioning special purpose machines or capital equipment.knowledge of power and electronics and basic mechanical handling would be an advantage.Knowledge of PLC in commissioning and fault finding is desirable however not essential as full training on Siemens S7 will be provided.Full Driving Licence.You will have a flexible approach, be out-going, technically motivated and interested in a high level of Customer Service.Good organisation skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management, both internal and external are essential.Willingness to travel in the UK and overseas in Europe is a fundamental requirement of this role, and the majority installations will require you to be away from home for a week at a time.Good familiarity with oscilloscopes and all types of electrical test equipment.To apply to this exciting opportunity, or find out about any other Field Service Engineer positions with Kadtech, please apply or call for a confidential conversationBasic Salary: £48,000-50,000 per annumOvertime: OTE £70,000 with overtime and allowancesCar Allowance: £4,800 per annumExcellent benefitsTPBN1_UKTJ
