Community Partnership and Engagement Officer Temporary roleLocation: Great Barr, BirminghamSalary: £39,000 - £41,000Working Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Thursday 9:00am 5:00pm and Friday 9:00am 4:30pm. Flexibility is required as some evening and out of hours work will be necessary to support meetings and events.Groomfield Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced Community Partnership and Engagement Officer . This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused housing professional to take ownership of tenant engagement, community partnership activity and customer satisfaction initiatives across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring tenants have a strong voice, services continue to improve, and the organisation remains compliant with consumer standards and regulatory expectations.The purpose of the role is to lead and develop customer engagement strategies, strengthen relationships with tenants and external partners, oversee tenant satisfaction measures and complaints performance, and ensure the organisation delivers a high-quality, inclusive and customer-focused service.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading on tenant and customer engagement activity across the organisation, ensuring customers have meaningful opportunities to influence services, policies and service deliveryDeveloping, implementing and maintaining customer engagement initiatives, frameworks and strategies in line with organisational objectivesSupporting the delivery and monitoring of Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) , Consumer Standards, tenant charters and customer involvement plansFacilitating tenant panels, scrutiny groups and customer meetings, ensuring they are well supported, effective and able to hold the organisation to accountWorking closely with internal departments including Housing, Property Services, Finance and Corporate Services to collate information, support self-assessments and improve customer outcomesOverseeing complaints monitoring and complaint handling performance, including supporting investigations and reporting trends to senior managementProducing reports, performance information and updates for leadership teams, committees and board meetingsBuilding and maintaining strong working relationships with external agencies, stakeholders and community partners to promote engagement and partnership workingSupporting the production of annual tenant reports, newsletters, service improvement plans and customer communicationsLeading on customer satisfaction surveys, analysing feedback and using insight to recommend and drive service improvementsManaging budgets relating to customer engagement activities and ensuring projects are delivered within agreed targets, timescales and budgetsProviding line management, coaching and support to the Community Partnership and Engagement AssistantAbout YouPrevious experience within social housing, housing association or community-based housing services is ideal however candidates without will be consideredStrong knowledge of tenant engagement, resident involvement, customer participation and community partnership activityExperience of working with Consumer Standards, Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM), complaints handling and regulatory complianceProven ability to engage with customers, tenant groups, stakeholders and hard-to-reach communities to improve services and participationExperience of producing reports, analysing performance data and presenting information to senior leaders, committees or boardsStrong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels both internally and externallyExperience of supervising or managing staff and supporting their developmentA proactive, organised and customer-focused approach, with the ability to manage a varied workload and deliver resultsConfident using IT systems and digital platforms, with the ability to support communication and engagement activity across multiple channelsA full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for occasional business useThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced housing engagement professional to join an organisation with a strong community focus and play a key role in shaping services, improving customer satisfaction and strengthening tenant voice across the business.TPBN1_UKTJ
