SHEQ Advisor

SHEQ Advisor required to join an established and busy team. Salary up to £45,000 per annum with working hours of Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with flexibility required depending on business needs.Duties:Carry out weekly health and safety inspections across operational sitesConduct monthly office and yard inspectionsDeliver engaging HSE inductions for new startersDeliver Toolbox Talks and support workforce engagementMaintain training records and competency matricesCoordinate refresher training and external coursesAttend internal and client SHEQ meetingsProvide practical health and safety advice to managers and operational teamsSupport incident investigations and promote preventative actionsDeliver Emergency First Aid at Work and EUSR National Water Hygiene training ; following competencyProvide support and cover for the SHEQ Manager when requiredBenefits:Up to £45,000 per annumParkingPensionCompany vehicle and fuel cardExperience required:A car driver is essential due to the office locationNEBOSH, NVQ Level 3 or higher in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalentStrong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and utility sector best practicePrevious experience in a SHEQ, Health & Safety or Compliance roleConfident delivering training and presenting to groupsExcellent communication, organisation and attention to detailProactive, self-motivated and committed to continual improvementAbility to travel across operational sites throughout Essex, Hertfordshire and SuffolkGood IT skills, including Microsoft OfficeAbility to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environmentPlease bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
