We have specialist opportunities across a range of technical areas, including:Share SchemesTransactionsComplex Corporate TaxR&D Tax ReliefAs a Corporate Tax Senior, you will work closely with our experienced corporate tax specialists as well as our wider team of over 130 multi-disciplinary tax professionals. You will support the delivery of both compliance and advisory assignments, managing projects to agreed deadlines, budgets and quality standards. The breadth of our client base and work streams will provide significant exposure to a variety of technical challenges and opportunities, supporting both your professional development and long-term career progression.We offer a flexible hybrid working environment and place a strong emphasis on work-life balance, combining office collaboration with the flexibility to work from home.What you'll be doing day to daySupporting senior colleagues on a wide range of assignments, from preparing corporation tax computations and returns to advisory projects including capital allowances, R&D claims, tax due diligence, transactions and corporate restructuring workDeveloping your advisory experience through involvement in specialist projects across areas such as share schemes, transactions, complex corporate tax matters and innovation reliefsAssisting with the development of junior team members through coaching, mentoring and day-to-day supportUndertaking tax technical research and contributing to wider client projectsManaging a variety of tax-related administrative responsibilitiesSupporting the team's business development and marketing activitiesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, HMRC and professional contacts to deliver an exceptional client experienceCollaborating with audit colleagues on annual tax compliance assignmentsAbout youPrevious experience in a corporate tax roleATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience and a desire to complete CTA studiesStrong technical knowledge and a commitment to continuous professional developmentA good understanding of the compliance standards and regulatory requirements relevant to tax and auditCommercial awareness with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectivelyAble to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a wider teamStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleaguesProfessional, proactive and client-focused in your approachExperience using Alphatax would be advantageousWhy work at PKF Francis ClarkAs the largest firm of independent chartered accountants and business advisers in South West England, PKF Francis Clark offers a wide range of opportunities to develop your career in the way thats right for you.Established in 1919, weve grown to nearly 1,000 people across offices in Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Poole, Salisbury, Southampton, Taunton, Torquay and Truro.
