Forklift Operative

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our operations team.The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock, packaging materials, and finished products throughout our packhouse and storage facilities, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating forklift trucks safely and efficiently.Loading and unloading vehicles.Moving stock, pallets, and materials within the warehouse, packhouse, and storage areas.Supporting production teams by ensuring materials are available when required.Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any faults.Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely.Maintaining accurate records and following stock control procedures.Adhering to all health and safety, food safety, and company policies.Assisting with general warehouse and operational duties as required.What We're Looking ForValid Forklift Truck licence (essential).Previous forklift driving experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, agricultural, or food production environment.Good awareness of health and safety procedures.Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexible approach to working hours, particularly during peak seasons.Working Hours45 hours per week, across 5 working days.What We OfferStarting rate of £13.80 per hour.
