REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing companyWe are recruiting for an experienced VIM MELTER/ Furnace Operator to join a well-established Engineering & Manufacturing operation. This is a key role focused on delivering high-quality output while maintaining excellent safety and operational standards.Key Responsibilities:Operate VIM furnaces in line with safety and quality proceduresAnalyse bath samples and calculate alloy additions using ABS systemsCheck and prepare charge materials prior to furnace loadingSupervise alloy weighing and control additions to meet specificationsMaintain high housekeeping and plant standardsSupport production targets and carry out routine maintenanceRequirements:Experience in VIM/ Melting operationsStrong focus on safety, quality, and teamworkGood understanding of metallurgical processesWhat's on Offer:Stable role within a reputable manufacturing environmentOpportunity to develop skills and contribute to continuous improvementCompetitive payThe role also involves a bonus of up to 10% Circa £5,000+ on top of the salary OTE £55K+TPBN1_UKTJ
