Market Director Education Location: Farringdon, London (Hybrid Minimum 12 Days Per Week)Salary: Up to £150,000 Basic + 40% BonusOwn and Grow an Education Consulting Practice We're partnering with an ambitious AI-native consultancy to appoint a Market Director who will lead and grow its Education consulting practice.This is a unique opportunity for a commercially focused consulting leader to take ownership of an established market, shaping strategy, winning new business and developing long-term client relationships across the UK Education sector.This is not a delivery management role. Instead, the successful candidate will focus on growing the Education practice through business development, proposition development and strategic leadership while working closely with an experienced executive team.The Role Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the Education market by identifying opportunities, developing new consulting propositions and winning high-value transformation engagements.Approximately 70% of the role is focused on business development and market growth, with the remaining time spent supporting proposition development, consulting capability and ensuring the successful delivery of the work you have secured.Responsibilities Develop and execute the growth strategy for the Education market.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of consulting opportunities.Win new consulting and transformation engagements.Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the Education sector.Grow existing strategic accounts while securing new clients.Develop new consulting propositions and service offerings.Represent the business at industry events and conferences.Work closely with Consulting, Product and Delivery teams.Mentor and support consultants as the practice grows.Act as the recognised market leader for the Education sector.About You You'll be an experienced consulting leader with a proven track record of growing consulting revenue and building executive-level client relationships.You'll ideally have:Experience within a management, technology or digital consultancy.A strong business development background with responsibility for winning consulting engagements.Experience growing a consulting practice, market or strategic accounts.Strong relationships across the UK Education sector.Experience developing consulting propositions and taking new services to market.Knowledge of Education policy, funding and digital transformation.An interest in AI and the opportunities it presents across the Education sector.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Why Apply?
