With strong staffing levels, excellent staff retention and no reliance on agency workers, the organisation provides the consistency and stability that children need to build trusting relationships and achieve positive outcomes.This is an opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the service, while working within a collaborative organisation that values reflective practice, continuous learning and professional development.The RoleAs Registered Manager, you will provide strong leadership and oversight of the home, ensuring children receive high-quality, therapeutic and individualised care.You will:Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the children's homeCreate and maintain a safe, nurturing and child-centred environmentChampion trauma-informed and therapeutic approachesLead, support and develop the staff teamPromote reflective practice and a culture of continuous learningEnsure high standards of care and safeguarding are maintainedWork collaboratively with practitioners, professionals and external agenciesBuild strong relationships with the wider professional network supporting the childrenEnsure the service operates in line with relevant regulatory and professional standardsDrive positive outcomes for children and young peopleAbout YouWe welcomes applications from both experienced Registered Managers and Assistant Managers within residential children's services who are ready to take the next step in their career.You will ideally have:Previous experience working within a residential children's settingExperience supporting children with Learning Disabilities and/or emotional and behavioural needsA genuine commitment to trauma-informed and therapeutic approachesStrong leadership and communication skillsA passion for creating safe and nurturing environments for childrenThe ability to work collaboratively with professionals and external agenciesA commitment to reflective practice and continuous professional developmentA Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management is required, or you must be willing to complete this within the first two years of employment.This role is subject to a successful Enhanced DBS Check.At RJS Resourcing, we partner with values-driven children's home providers across the UK and work on a continuous stream of exciting opportunities within residential childcare.
