Estimator - Shopfitting & Joinery

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in shopfitting, bespoke joinery, or interior fit-out to join their established team based in West Yorkshire .With over 30 years of industry experience , the business has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality retail fit-out projects across the UK. Working with recognised brandsthey deliver projects typically ranging from £400,000 to £1.5 million .This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing business, working within a close-knit office team and alongside an experienced manufacturing facility located on-site.The RoleAs Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of UK-wide shopfitting and bespoke joinery projects, managing the process from initial enquiry through to tender submission.Key ResponsibilitiesReview drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.Produce accurate take-offs and bills of quantities.Obtain, analyse, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.Price shopfitting, bespoke joinery, and manufacturing packages.Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate.Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and the manufacturing department to ensure accurate and competitive tenders.About YouThe successful candidate will have:Previous estimating experience within shopfitting, joinery, or interior fit-out.A strong understanding of bespoke joinery and manufacturing processes.The ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.Excellent commercial awareness with strong attention to detail.Strong communication and organisational skills.Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Excel would be advantageous.What's on OfferSalary of £40,000 - £50,000+ , with flexibility for the right candidate.Opportunity to join a well-established business with over 30 years of success .Involvement in high-profile UK retail fit-out projects for recognised brands.Typical project values ranging from £400,000 to £1.5 million .Office-based role in West Yorkshire .On-site and nearby parking available.Standard holiday entitlement and company pension package.Strong pipeline of work and genuine long-term career opportunity.If you're an experienced Estimator looking to join a respected shopfitting and joinery contractor with a strong reputation and exciting projects ahead, this could be the ideal next step.To apply, please submit your CV online today.TPBN1_UKTJ
