Senior Support Worker

We are looking forSenior Support Workers for a new 3 Bed homesupporting 8-18s with EBD SEMHand challenging behaviour. Where the emphasis will be high quality of care.SalarySenior Support Workers£16 per hour + £65 per sleep (must be qualified and a driver)You will be expected to sleep in after some of your shifts£33000 £40000Duties includeSupporting and managing the staff team to meet the needs of the young personPlanning each shift and ensuring resources are allocated appropriatelyWorking with external professionals to deliver positive outcomesProviding supervision and support to staff in line with Quality StandardsSupporting the young person to engage in educationEnsuring their health needs are metProviding advice, support and guidanceManaging complex behaviours and crisis interventionAdministering and recording medicationMaintaining daily records and administrative workContributing to the care planning processLiaising with external stakeholders and our multidisciplinary teamAttending mandatory trainingEngaging in team meetingsMaintaining the home (laundry, cleaning, shopping, cooking, etc.)RequirementsAble to work Full timeA full UK driving license ( preferred )Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)An understanding that this role will require that you undertake EnhancedDBSchecksYou need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children.
