EDF's Nuclear New Build programme is delivering Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C. We're looking for a Cost Engineer to join the Integrated Project Controls (Cost & Forecasting) team, acting as a centre of excellence and supporting consistent, high-quality cost and forecasting across the project.

What you'll be doing

\n
    \n
  • Produce and maintain accurate cost and forecast data aligned to the Cost/Work Breakdown Structure (CBS/WBS).
  • \n
  • Maintain cost & forecasting data within relevant systems (e.g., EcoSys / SAP).
  • \n
  • Support reporting cycles: produce regular cost/forecast reports with clear commentary on drivers, issues, and performance.
  • \n
  • Support trend & change control activities, analysis, KPIs, and identification of risks/opportunities.
  • \n
  • Provide clear insights to support decision-making using commercial and technical information.
  • \n
  • Collaborate across delivery teams and project controls disciplines (cost, planning, risk, performance measurement/analysis).
  • \n
  • Promote good governance, compliance, and appropriate handling/marking of sensitive information.
  • \n

What we're looking for

\n
    \n
  • HND (minimum) or equivalent in project management, project controls, engineering, or related discipline.
  • \n
  • Experience in a project management environment and demonstrable exposure to a project controls discipline.
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical/problem-solving capability, and ability to explain complex information clearly to varied stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Desirable (not essential): major construction project and/or nuclear industry experience.
