\nPurpose and scope of the Contract Team Leader role:
\nWe are seeking an organised, proactive Contract Team Leader to support leakage and network performance delivery across the South-East Water region. Working closely with Regional Leakage Managers, you will coordinate a team of Data Maintenance Technicians and help keep monitoring devices, systems and field-based activity running effectively.
\nThis is a hands-on role spanning planning, operational control, data management and field support. You will manage tasks using in-house systems (Waternet), maintain accurate records, support incident response, track performance and contribute to delivery across complex workstreams.
\nYou will strengthen team productivity, improve task flow and support reliable data and asset performance. You will help drive better operational control, reporting and delivery standards. Over time, you will build expertise across leakage operations, network performance and team leadership, with scope to grow within a significant and technically challenging environment.
\nCore Capabilities required in the role of Contract Team Leader:
\nAble to plan, prioritise and support multiple workstreams while keeping teams aligned and productive.
\nConfident handling operational data, task tracking and reporting systems; Waternet experience is beneficial, with full training provided.
\nComfortable supporting technicians, site activity, audits and incident response in a fast-paced operational setting.
\nAble to work effectively with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders, building trust through clarity and responsiveness.
\nStrong attention to detail, with the ability to manage records, logistics, compliance tasks and performance targets.
\nYou must either have experience in a comparable role, or have worked in a relevant field-based Technician role, now looking for a step up in your career
\nSkills, Qualifications and Experience required in the Contract Team Leader role:
\nExperience in operational coordination, team support or field delivery
\nStrong communication and organisational skills
\nManual driving licence is essential.
\nWaternet, Maximo or leakage network knowledge is desirable, but not essential.
\nRelevant technical training or operational qualifications would be an advantage EUSR Water Hygiene, Streetworks, Confined Spaces training etc
