Job Description
We're working with a well-established and growing main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Scotland. Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, they're looking to appoint a Project Manager to join their team.
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has already gained experience delivering construction projects and is looking for greater responsibility, autonomy, and career progression within a supportive business.
\nThe Role
\nAs Project Manager, you'll take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they're delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
\nWorking closely with site teams, commercial staff, clients, and subcontractors, you'll play a key role in successfully delivering a range of projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, industrial and public sectors.
\nResponsibilities

- Manage construction projects from inception to handover. \n
- Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors. \n
- Develop and monitor project programmes. \n
- Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with company procedures. \n
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. \n
- Monitor project costs and support commercial performance. \n
- Identify and manage project risks. \n
- Maintain high standards of quality throughout delivery. \n
What We're Looking For
\n- \n
- Experience working for a main contractor in a Site Manager, Project Manager or similar delivery role. \n
- Proven experience managing construction projects or leading packages on larger schemes. \n
- Strong organisational and communication skills. \n
- Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability. \n
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification. \n
- A positive attitude and ambition to develop your career. \n
- Experience in the defense sector is advantageous. \n
