Working hours: Full time – 36 hours per week
\n\nSchedule type: Site-based role with a designated patch, primarily covering the Croydon area, with additional coverage across Brighton as required.

\n\nWhat you’ll be doing
\n\nIn this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring our teams have the tools, knowledge, and processes they need to deliver a high-quality service. You will:

- Carry out regular estate inspections, addressing minor issues and ensuring communal areas are safe, clean, and well maintained \n
- Undertake basic maintenance and inspections of communal areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards and escalating complex repairs \n
- Support the management of anti-social behaviour and environmental nuisance issues, including fly tipping and evidence gathering \n
- Maintain a visible presence on estates, addressing concerns, supporting residents, and reporting safety or environmental issues \n
- Engage with residents and support community initiatives, encouraging involvement and signposting to relevant services \n
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to report issues, coordinate actions, and support effective service delivery \n
What you’ll bring
\n\nWe’re looking for someone who:

- Can work under pressure and use initiative to prioritise tasks and solve problems effectively \n
- Is confident using IT systems to accurately record inspections, report issues, and manage day-to-day activities \n
- Works in line with Health & Safety, COSHH, Risk Assessments, and safe systems of work \n
- Has strong attention to detail, identifying issues and ensuring they are followed through to resolution \n
- Can communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and residents \n
- Is confident working in community settings and dealing with challenging situations or behaviour \n
- Can use initiative, prioritise workloads, and identify opportunities to improve services \n
- Holds a full, UK manual driving licence \n
