Data Analyst

Data AnalystLocation: Milton Keynes (Hybrid, minimum 2 days onsite)

We're looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join a growing data team, supporting the development of modern data solutions, reporting capabilities, and analytics across a large-scale Azure data platform. The role combines data modelling, reporting, and hands-on data engineering work within a cloud-based environment. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models, schemas, KPIs, measures, calculations, and critical data elements.
\n
• Support the migration of data and reporting assets into an Azure Data Lake environment.
\n
• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
\n
• Develop reporting and analytics solutions to improve business insight and operational efficiency.
\n
• Support data engineering activities using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and SQL.
\n
• Contribute to data governance, data quality, and reporting improvement initiatives.
\n

Essential Skills & Experience

\n
• Strong experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL.
\n
• Advanced Data Modelling and Data Schema Design expertise.
\n
• Experience applying Medallion Architecture principles.
\n
• Strong Power BI development and reporting experience.
\n
• Experience creating KPIs, measures, calculations and critical data elements.
\n
• Knowledge of ETL frameworks and data integration processes.
\n
• Experience with Azure Data Lake and dimensional modelling.
\n
• Background in both data analytics and data engineering
