\nPenguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in Bristol.

THE ROLE\nAs an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will undertake both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a range of client sites throughout the South West.
\nWorking independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will deliver high-quality surveying and analytical services while ensuring full compliance with HSG264, HSG248, current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n- \n

Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
\n - \n
Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248
\n - \n
Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
\n - \n
Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector properties
\n - \n
Managing your own workload efficiently across multiple client sites
\n - \n
Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
\n - \n
Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures

BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)
\n - \n
Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
\n - \n
Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation
\n - \n
Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable
\n - \n
Full UK driving licence
\n - \n
Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
\n - \n

£40,000-£43,000 basic salary
