\n Pertemps are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of a leading logistics company working with a major retailer based in the Hams Hall\n
\n
\n This is an ongoing role delivering to high street and retail park stores on a regular shift pattern. The work would include multi drop deliveries and handball will be expected of cages and loose loads.\n
\n
\n This will be a role delivering to stores across the country and it could be 10-15 drops per day\n
\n
The Role:\n
\n
\n

\n
• Local or Distance deliveries to high street shops or retail parks
  
  
\n
• 10-15 drops or collections on a daily basis
  
  
\n
• Start times on days between 00:00 & 04:00hr sarts.
  
  
\n
• Handball and flexibility to do a variety of runs is mandatory
  
  
\n
• Regular shift pattern of Monday to Saturday any 5 days out of 6.
  
  
\n
• Ensuring timely and professional deliveries to customers
  
  
\n
• Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
  
  
\n

Pay Rates:\n
\n
\n

\n
• £17.76 per hour on Days
  
  
\n
• Overtime premiums of £24.25 per hour for all hours completed after 48hrs per week.
  
  
\n

\n
Requirements:\n
\n
\n

\n
• Valid HGV Class 2 licence
  
  
\n
• Valid CPC and Digi Card
  
  
\n
• Minimum 9 months Class 2 driving experience required
  
  
\n
• Previous multi drop or store delivery work is preferred
  
  
\n
• Comfortable with paperwork
  
  
\n
• Ok to complete full assessment including theory, practical & Drug and alcohol test upon arrival
  
  
\n
• Good customer service skills and reliability
  
  
\n
