Finance Manager

\n I am supporting a leading global insurance group who are hiring a Finance Manager to join the London team. The role focusses on the EMEA region in a fast-paced, growing business at a genuinely exciting point in their journey.

Your new role
\n Key responsibilities include:

\n
• Production and review of monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
\n
• Partnering with regional finance teams across Europe to analyse financial performance and key business metrics.
\n
• Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
\n
• Assisting with the production of statutory accounts and group reporting requirements.
\n
• Cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and working capital reporting.
\n
• Driving finance transformation, process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives.
\n
• Supporting internal controls, governance and SOX readiness projects.
\n
• Producing ad-hoc financial analysis to support commercial decision-making.
\n
• Managing and developing junior members of the finance team.
\n

What you'll need to succeed
\n To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting expertise and experience operating within a complex international business environment.
\n You will ideally possess:

\n
• Significant post-qualified finance experience.
\n
• Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting standards, including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
\n
• Experience of group reporting, management accounting and financial planning processes.
\n
• Knowledge of internal controls and governance frameworks, ideally including SOX.
\n
• Experience working across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
\n
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability.
\n
• Previous exposure to insurance, financial services or large corporate environments would be advantageous.
\n
