CNC Machinist required in Stroud. Salary: £41,600 basic salary with overtime and salary progression available, Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Contract: Permanent Opportunity.Pertemps are recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join a rapidly growing precision engineering business based in Stroud. - Operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision-engineered components. \n
- Setting and operating lathes, milling machines and sliding head machines. \n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. \n
- Producing components to tight tolerances and quality standards. \n
- Conducting basic machine checks and ensuring equipment is maintained correctly. \n
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment. \n
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets. \n
- Undertaking training to develop additional skills and responsibilities. \n

- Previous CNC machining or machine operating experience would be beneficial. \n
- Knowledge of CNC machines, lathes, milling machines or sliding head machinery. \n
- Ability to read engineering drawings. \n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. \n
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn. \n
- Reliable and hardworking approach to work. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
- Flexibility to support shift work during busy periods. \n

- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30. \n
- Friday: 07:30 - 12:30. \n
- 40 hours per week. \n
- Overtime available and paid at 1.5x hourly rate. \n
- During busy periods, there may be opportunities to work a late shift from 14:00 - 00:00, paid at 1 times the standard hourly rate. \n

- Starting salary of £20.00 per hour. \n
