Compliance Officer

Compliance Officer | Central Bristol | £35,000-£42,000 | Permanent

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Compliance Officer on behalf of a professional services organisation based in Central Bristol. This role offers the opportunity to join a supportive and professional team where you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, financial crime prevention and effective client due diligence processes.

• Manage compliance enquiries and support client due diligence activities.
\n
• Review AML and risk information, maintaining accurate client risk ratings.
\n
• Monitor system alerts, compliance registers and ongoing screening processes.
\n
• Support compliance monitoring, governance reporting and risk assessments.
\n
• Assist with policy development, compliance training and internal guidance.
\n
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support wider business projects.
\n

\n
• Experience in compliance, AML, risk, financial crime or a similar role.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
\n
• Strong organisational and communication abilities (both written and via phone/in person)
\n
• Confidence handling confidential information.
\n
• Good Microsoft Office skills and experience maintaining accurate records.
\n
• Professional services compliance experience

• Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 from home

• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
