Within our Education Division, we're continuing to grow and are now seeking an experienced Payroll & Pensions Trainer to help develop the next generation of payroll professionals supporting schools and education organisations.
\n\nThe Opportunity
\n\nThis is a unique opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys sharing knowledge, developing people and driving best practice.
\n\nAs our Payroll & Pensions Trainer, you'll design and deliver high-quality training programmes focused on education payroll and pensions, ensuring our teams have the knowledge and confidence to provide exceptional service to our customers.
\n\nYou'll work with a wide range of stakeholders, delivering training both remotely and face-to-face while creating engaging learning content and supporting continuous improvement across our operations.
\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing

- Designing and delivering payroll and pensions training programmes. \n
- Providing specialist expertise on Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS), LGPS and education-sector payroll regulations. \n
- Creating engaging learning materials, guides, assessments and e-learning content. \n
- Delivering workshops, webinars, classroom sessions and one-to-one coaching. \n
- Supporting payroll colleagues with complex queries and technical guidance. \n
- Helping teams stay up to date with payroll legislation and compliance requirements. \n
- Evaluating training effectiveness and implementing improvements. \n
- Supporting onboarding, system migrations and business change initiatives. \n
What We're Looking For
\nWe're interested in speaking with candidates who have:

- Proven payroll experience, ideally within a bureau, outsourced payroll or education payroll environment. \n
- Experience delivering training, coaching or supporting learning initiatives. \n
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation including PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments, RTI and year-end processing. \n
- Understanding of Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS), LGPS or similar pension arrangements. \n
- Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills. \n
- The ability to simplify complex payroll concepts for different audiences. \n
- Professional payroll qualifications such as CIPP or AAT (desirable). \n
