Adults Social Worker- Community [Rochdale]

Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Community Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

\n
• Undertake Care Act assessments, reviews, and person-centred support planning for adults with a range of care and support needs.
\n
• Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes through strengths-based social work practice.
\n
• Manage safeguarding concerns, risk assessments, and interventions in line with relevant legislation and local procedures.
\n
• Apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and support individuals with decision-making and best interest processes where required.
\n
• Work collaboratively with service users, carers, health professionals, and community partners to coordinate effective support.
\n
• Maintain accurate case records, reports, and statutory documentation while managing a diverse caseload.
\n

Requirements of this role:

\n
• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
\n
• Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
\n
