Production Supervisor

Our manufacturing Client on the outskirts of Dartford is seeking a Production Supervisor, the role is offered as a full time, permanent position.

Salary: IRO £32,000 to £34,000 pa depending on industry experience

Hours: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week

Holiday: 25 days + 8 BH

Production Supervisor – the role

• The Production Supervisor must be goal driven and ensure that all production expectations and demands are met and ensure customer needs are achieved in an on-time manner.
\n
• Responsible for daily production and planning in their area – adhere to company policies and procedures – H&S etc.
\n
• Organise production team – c30 manual PCB assemblers
\n
• Provide leadership and direction to the production team
\n
• Good communication skills verbal and electronic (Email and Teams).
\n
• Must be able to multitask.
\n
• The Production Supervisor must be able to communicate with other department heads and must ensure that all policy and procedures are being adhered to.
\n
• Must be hands on and be able to support team members
\n
• Training of new staff – dealing with HR related issues – absence, lateness, booking holiday etc
\n

Production Supervisor - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Supervisory / leadership experience – ideally electronics industry

Supervisory experience of a manufacturing/assembly team – 10 + personnel

Good level of education

Computer literate
