Are you a CNC Field Service Engineer with strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills who enjoys working independently across the UK
\nWorkshop Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering business with an excellent reputation for quality machinery and customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Field Service Engineer to join a successful team supporting customers nationwide.
\nYou'll receive two weeks of intensive training on joining, giving you a solid understanding of the company's CNC machinery and service standards, followed by ongoing technical development and support from an experienced Service Helpdesk team.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Install, commission, service and repair CNC machinery at customer sites. \n
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults. \n
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals. \n
- Carry out preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs. \n
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation. \n
- Deliver outstanding customer service during every site visit. \n
- Travel throughout the UK, including overnight stays on larger projects. \n
Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- At least 3 years' experience as a CNC Field Service Engineer or in a similar field service role. \n
- Background within the machinery or CNC industry. \n
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. \n
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams. \n
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. \n
- Full UK driving licence. \n
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required. \n
