Warehouse Operative – Warrington

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Warrington.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, paid breaks, ongoing work, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a General Operative, Order Picker or Warehouse Assistant.

Shifts:

• Working any five days out of seven (rota provided in advance)• 12:00 – 20:00 (8-hour shifts)

Rates of Pay:

• £13.77 – £20.65 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently• Loading vehicles safely and securely• Moving stock throughout the warehouse, including manual handling and heavy lifting• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment• Following all health and safety procedures and company standards

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• A hardworking, reliable, and positive attitude• The ability to work effectively as part of a team• A good standard of spoken and written English• To be physically fit, as manual handling and heavy lifting are required• Previous warehouse experience

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse picking systems is advantageous

Training Provided:

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
