NJR Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing Financial Planning Practice for a Paraplanner to join its established team.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with experience in Financial Services who is looking to progress their career into Paraplanning. The successful candidate will have already started working towards and should have obtained at least 3 of the CII R0 exams. Experience within a firm of Financial Planners is essential, along with experience producing suitability reports.

\n

Working alongside experienced Advisers and Senior Paraplanners, you'll receive excellent support and exposure to all aspects of the financial planning process while continuing your professional development.

\n

As a Paraplanner, you will provide comprehensive support to the Paraplanning and Advisory teams, helping to produce high-quality client reports, carry out research and ensure the delivery of compliant financial advice.

\n

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Advisers and Senior Paraplanners with day-to-day client cases.
  • \n
  • Gathering, reviewing and analysing client information to assist in the preparation of financial recommendations.
  • \n
  • Liaising with clients, providers and third parties to obtain policy information and resolve queries.
  • \n
  • Conducting product and technical research using industry research tools.
  • \n
  • Assisting in the preparation of suitability reports and recommendation letters within a regulated environment.
  • \n
  • Ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant and completed to a high standard.
  • \n
  • Keeping up to date with legislation, regulation and technical developments within Financial Services.
  • \n
  • Supporting the maintenance of internal systems, processes and procedures.
  • \n
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • \n

About You

\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience within Financial Services, ideally in an IFA Administration or Financial Planning support role.
  • \n
  • A genuine ambition to build a long-term career in Paraplanning.
  • \n
  • Diploma in Financial Planning or be actively working towards Level 4 qualifications.
  • \n
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Excellent written communication skills with a high standard of grammar and spelling.
  • \n
  • The ability to interpret and accurately present complex information.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • \n
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using electronic systems.
  • \n
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to continually develop technical knowledge.
  • \n
