Junior Electronic Design Engineer

JobTitle: Junior Electronic Design EngineerLocation: Bristol (Hybrid Working - 3 Days On-Site Per Week)Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus & Benefits (Depending on Experience) Please Note: All Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without the need for VISA sponsorship now or in the future.Role Overview:Zenovo are looking for an Junior Electronic Design Engineer to join their client in Bristol, focusing on designing electronics from their next-generation product.An ideal candidate will have at least 1-Year of Experience outside of University however we are happy to consider candidates who have done a Sandwich Degree and completed a year in Industry during their studies.Job Responsibilities: \n

• Work on electronics hardware development projects, with hands-on involvement in specification, design, implementation, and testing.
\n
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal hardware development processes in collaboration with the Head of Software and Electronics.
\n
• Support EMC design, testing, and compliance efforts.
\n
• Perform product testing, including functionality, reliability, and safety assessments.
\n
• Undertake PCB rework and support prototyping activities.
\n
• Take ownership of assigned work packages, providing regular progress updates and ensuring delivery to agreed deadlines.
\n
• Coordinate with external suppliers and contract manufacturers.
\n
• Develop and support the creation of test procedures for both laboratory and manufacturing environments.
\n
• Produce clear, professional-standard test reports
\n

Required Skills & Experience: \n

\n
• Understanding of core electronics engineering principles, including analogue design, SMPS, EMC/EMI, and PCB development.
\n
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to diagnose issues and deliver effective engineering solutions.
\n
• Skilled in PCB design and schematic capture using Altium, or willing to develop expertise in this area.
\n
• Proficient in the use of test and measurement equipment such as, oscilloscopes & digital multimeters (DMMs)
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
\n
• Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
\n
