Senior Accountant – Wolverhampton

Full-Time | Permanent | £38k

I am working with a growing accountancy practice in Wolverhampton who are now looking for an experienced Senior Accountannt.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practice experience who enjoys managing client relationships and working with a varied portfolio of businesses.

As Senior Accountant your responsibilities will include

• Management of a portfolio of SME, sole trader and limited company clients.
\n
• Preparing year-end accounts and VAT returns.
\n
• Supporting clients with Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance.
\n
• Liaising directly with clients and HMRC.
\n
• Providing proactive accounting and business advice.
\n
• Supporting junior team members where required.
\n

About You

\n
• Practice experience is essential.
\n
• AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
\n
• Confident managing your own client portfolio.
\n
• Strong knowledge of UK accounts, VAT and MTD.
\n
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
\n
