Teaching Assistant

Are you a motivated graduate from a Russell Group university looking to gain hands-on experience in education before pursuing a long-term career? An ambitious secondary school in Hounslow is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, approximately 8:15am to 4:00pm. It offers an excellent opportunity to develop classroom skills while making a meaningful impact on the learning and development of young people.

  Work alongside teachers to provide effective classroom support.

  Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to help students reach their potential.

  Encourage positive behaviour and active participation in lessons.

  Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom activities.

• \n

  Provide additional support for students with a range of learning needs.

• \n

  Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents where appropriate.

  Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

  A degree from a Russell Group university.

\n
• \n

  A genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people in education.

  Strong communication and organisational skills.

\n
• \n

  A positive, resilient and professional attitude.

\n

  The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

\n
• \n

  An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

• \n

  The right to work in the UK.
