Senior Executive Assistant to Managing Director

- Pay: £22.39 per hour PAYE \n
- Regular office attendance required (4 days per week) \n
Transport for Greater Manchester are seeking a dedicated Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director by working alongside the senior executive assistant. This role is crucial for ensuring effective coordination of day-to-day activities, including comprehensive diary management, meeting planning, preparation of papers and briefings, and providing high-quality administrative support. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling the Managing Director to operate effectively in a complex and fast-paced environment.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Manage and coordinate the Managing Director's diary and schedule to ensure optimal organisation. \n
- Plan and prepare for meetings, including the preparation of necessary documents and briefings. \n
- Provide high-quality administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. \n
- Work closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation and partner organisations. \n
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. \n
- Support, guide, and develop junior staff within the team. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Senior Personal Assistant, ideally supporting Managing Director, Executive, or Board-level leaders. \n
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. \n
- Ability to manage complex diaries, meetings, and competing priorities effectively. \n
- Proactive and confident in working independently; able to anticipate requirements and plan forward effectively. \n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of building positive working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders. \n
- Line management experience is desirable, with skills in supporting, guiding, and developing others. \n
