Job Description

Role: Part-Time Receptionist

Location: Brighton, East Sussex (office-based)

\n

Hours: Up to 22.5 hours per week. Hours can be worked across three days or spread over five days. The working pattern must include Fridays and cover 12:30pm-2:30pm.

\n

Pay: £12.92 per hour, increasing up to £14.00 per hour depending on relevant experience

\n

Start Date: 10 August 2026 or as soon as possible

\n

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Receptionist to join one of our longstanding clients in central Brighton.

\n

\n

Reporting to the Office Manager, this is a varied front-of-house and administrative position. You will help provide a professional and welcoming service to internal and external clients while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

The Role

  • Welcome clients and visitors to the office
  • \n
  • Provide a professional and helpful front-of-house service
  • \n
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
  • \n
  • Respond to general enquiries and take accurate messages
  • \n
  • Support meeting room bookings and preparation
  • \n
  • Complete general reception and administrative duties
  • \n
  • Assist internal teams with day-to-day office support
  • \n
  • Maintain an organised, professional and welcoming reception area
  • \n
  • Work closely with colleagues on the front desk to ensure continuous cover
  • \n
  • Provide flexible support during busy periods and changing business requirements
  • \n
