Audit Semi-Senior

I am delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy practice in Sheffield in their search for an Audit Semi-Senior. Due to a recent influx of VC backed clients, this firm is looking to grow their audit team and continue delivering the quality level of service they are known for providing.

You will work with a varied portfolio of clients, alongside Seniors and Managers, gaining exposure to businesses of different sizes and industries, while continuing your ACA/ACCA studies.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous audit experience who is looking to take on greater responsibility while working alongside experienced managers and partners in a supportive environment.

Duties/responsibilities:

• Assisting with planning and completing statutory audits
\n
• Preparing audit files and supporting working papers
\n
• Preparing statutory accounts and financial statements
\n
• Working closely with a varied portfolio of clients throughout audit assignments
\n
• Identifying issues and discussing findings with senior team members
\n
• Supporting Audit Seniors and Managers on larger assignments
\n
• Assisting with accounts preparation and other compliance work where required
\n

Who you are:

• Experience working within an accountancy practice audit team
\n
• ACA or ACCA studier
\n
• Strong communication and organisational skills
\n
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
\n
• The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and clients
\n
