Travel Consultant (Part Time)

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent travel agency on the boarders of Watford. My client is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant with previous travel sales experience.

This role will ideally suit someone with a proven Travel Agency background, excellent customer service and a passion for travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Working in a branch, with a small team of travel consultants
\n
• Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone
\n
• Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
\n
• Selling both package and dynamically packaged holidays
\n
• Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs
\n
• Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance.
\n
• Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service
\n

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

\n
• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a travel agency environment
\n
• Passionate about travel and customer service
\n
• Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude
\n

PACKAGE:

\n
• A very competitive basic salary of £26,000 - £30,000 + bonus
\n
• Monday - Saturday: 9am - 5:30pm (Saturdays; 9am - 2.30pm)
\n
• Full time or Part time (Days Negotiable)
\n
