Production/Manufacturing EngineerSalary up to £45K DOEHours of work Monday to Friday (Days)Great working environmentCompany pension and excellent benefitsPersonal developmentAre you an experienced Production/Manufacturing Engineer.Our client is currently recruiting an experienced Production/Manufacturing Engineer.Reporting to the Engineering Director, the role of Production/Manufacturing Engineer provides a support function to all areas of production of the business.Role responsibilities:Transfer and embed best practiceAct as the manufacturing engineering authority on the shopfloorLead lean improvement, problem-solving, and line balancing activitiesDrive cost, quality, safety, and waste reduction through CI cultureProvide Design for Manufacture input and manage engineering changesCreate standard operations, work instructions, and balance chartsSupport cross-functional project executionEnsure full compliance with EHS and quality standardsWhat were looking forStrong experience with machining/tooling (e.g., CNC turning and milling ) (knowledge of Grinding would be an advantage)Experience in a manufacturing engineering role experience with tool managementMinimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and tolerancesKnowledge of CAM software and CNC programming3D Modelling preferably CreoCreating BOMs and routingsExperience in fixture designPersonal AttributesExcellent communication skills at all levelsWork effectively as part of a team and independently manage own timeFlexible to the needs of the business with the ability to work calmly under pressureOrganised with attention to detailPractical, hands-on engineering mindsetGood communication across shop floor and leadershipTo apply in confidence, please send your CV to Tracey McDermott at The Recruitment Fix Ltd.TPBN1_UKTJ
