If you have experience across a range of maintenance trades, enjoy working as part of a team and are committed to providing excellent service, we encourage you to apply.THE ROLE Primary Purpose Working as a multi-skilled maintenance technician responsible for the maintenance of the fabric, fixtures and services to all the High School properties. As a member of the multi-skilled maintenance team, you will undertake a range of duties in the following areas: joinery, plumbing, bricklaying, heating and general repairs.Principal Objectives Health, safety and hygiene:Inspection, maintenance and correct use of safety equipment.Conform to the Schools Health and Safety policy at all times and be responsible for health and safety at work both on a personal basis and in regards to others.Complete risk assessments for job specific tasks.Willingness to take part in any training put forward.Maintain a clean and safe working environment both within the workshop and areas of work. Complete Compliance checks and documentation as and when required.Routine Maintenance:Reactive maintenance as dictated by the schools fault reporting systemPlanned maintenance covering all building related work carried out at known intervalsAssisting staff, students and others to report needed repairs and to find out the priority identified for such repairs, the progress on any works and the planned maintenance programmeRespond and carry out any repairs across the whole estate inclusive of properties.Duties Relating To Specialist Skills:Report any faulty equipment to management immediately.Ensure that all equipment and materials are used and stored in accordance with the Schools policy.Routine reactive and preventative maintenance.Offer advice on cost-effectiveness and new equipment as it becomes available.Drive the departmental vehicle, collecting materials and equipment.Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the School management.TPBN1_UKTJ
