Laminator Operator

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Laminator Operator to join a leading manufacturing company based in Wednesbury.This exciting opportunity is due to start in October and offers the chance to become part of a well-established and successful business.Duties include (but are not limited to):Set up and operate the foiling laminator safely and efficientlyPrepare profiles and foils for productionMonitor machines settings, temperatures, adhesive applications and line speeds to ensure optimum performanceCarry out quality inspections to ensure excellent finish, adhesion and colour consistencyIdentity and rectify minor production issues and escalate more complex faults where necessaryMaintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in accordance with Health & Safety proceduresAssist with routine maintenance and cleaning of the laminating equipmentWork closely with production, quality and maintenance teams to achieve production targetsThe ideal candidate:Previous experience operating laminating equipment is preferredExperience within the window, extrusion, plastics or manufacturing industry would be advantageousStrong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality productsMechanical aptitude and confidence in adjusting machine settingsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude with a willingness to learn new processes and equipmentGood understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environmentWhats on offer:£15 per hour (depending on experience)Monday to Thursday (7:00am 17:30pm)Temporary to permanent positionFull training on foiling laminatorCareer development opportunities within a growing manufacturing businessStart date of OctoberIf you are interested in this position and have the relevant experience, please apply with your CV to be considered.TPBN1_UKTJ
