Class 2 Driver

Jobstore are currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in the Bury area on an ongoing temp to perm basis.This is a fantastic temp to perm opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress. You will be working Monday - Friday with early starts, delivering across the North West region.Day to Day DutiesYour duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locationsPick and pack items from the vehicle and handball goods on customer siteUnloading and sorting orders onsitePerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsure all cargo is loaded and secured properlyCommunicate effectively with dispatch and customersReport any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementEssential SkillsAs a Class 2 Driver you will need to:Hold a valid UK Class 2 LicenceNo more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codesHave a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi CardMust be able to speak and read a good level of EnglishPunctuality and excellent time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsEffective communication skillsDesirable ExperienceExperience driving any commercial vehiclesPrevious experience with multi drop deliveriesPrevious warehouse/picking experience beneficialPositive work ethic and good customer serviceMax 6 minor points (for insurance)If this is something that you would be interested in, then click apply and one our team will call to discuss your application.Jobstore is an equal opportunities employer and we value diversity.TPBN1_UKTJ
