This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, immediate starts and genuine opportunities for growth and progression with a leading logistics operation.This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, HGV Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Rigid Driver, Delivery Driver, Lorry Driver or Commercial Driver .Shifts• Working any 5 nights out of 7  • Start times between 01:00 and 03:00Rates of Pay• £15.87 per hour  • Weekly payBenefitsAs an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will receive:• Excellent hourly rates  • Ongoing work  • Weekly pay  • Immediate starts available  • Site canteen  • Employee Wellbeing Programme  • Industry-related training and ongoing supportDay-to-Day DutiesAs an HGV Class 2 Driver , your duties will include:• Completing supermarket deliveries using modern wheeled cages  • Loading and unloading deliveries safely (handball required)  • Driving and operating Category C (Class 2) vehicles safely and efficiently  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections before and after each shift  • Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant before transportation  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately  • Following Driver Hours Regulations, the Working Time Directive and all road traffic legislation  • Communicating professionally with the transport office and customers  • Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptlyEssential SkillsTo be successful in this role, you will need:• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence  • Minimum of 12 months' Class 2 driving experience  • Valid Driver CPC Card  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes  • Good spoken and written English  • Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach  • Good understanding of UK road transport legislationDesirable Experience• Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience  • Previous supermarket or multi-drop delivery experience  • Experience using wheeled cagesTraining Provided• Driver assessment required prior to starting  • One-day paid induction following a successful assessment  • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignmentApplyIf you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, immediate starts and long-term opportunities with a reputable logistics operation, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch to discuss the role further.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
