Shift operations TechnicianC£58,000 + BonusArdleyMC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit working on a 24-hour shift rotation, operating an Energy Recovery Facility safely and efficiently from the control room and in the field.This role will involve safely operating the Energy Recovery Facility from both the control room and on-site, monitoring plant performance, responding to faults, carrying out plant isolations, and ensuring safe, efficient and environmentally compliant operations.Working 40 hours per week, on a 5-week shift pattern, include nights.As a Shift Operations Technician, you will be responsible for:Operating the DCS and responding to alarms.Monitoring and optimising plant performance.Diagnosing and rectifying process/equipment faults.Carrying out plant isolations and safe systems of work.Monitoring boiler chemistry and environmental compliance.Completing accurate shift logs and handovers.Other duties as requiredTo be considered for this role you should have:Mechanical, electrical or process plant experienceUnderstanding of plant isolations and safe systems of work.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.IOSH or NEBOSH (preferred).Ability to attain Authorised Person status (desirable).This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading business with huge growth potential.The offer:The package on offer for this role includesA salary up to £58,000 depending on experienceAnnual BonusPension schemeHolidaysOther benefitsTo apply:If you are interested in this role please apply via the link below or contact Machaela at MC Technical Recruitment on 01489533030 / for a confidential chat.TPBN1_UKTJ
