Position : CNC Mill/ TurnLocation: PooleType of work: permanentSalary : £44818 to £47455 per annumWorking hours : 4 nights Monday to Thursday with flex start and finishBenefits: 20 days Hols + BH, 3% Pension 5% totalling 8%, 3 X Base salary life assurance, Personal Development assistance, Sick Pay, 4 day week and flex hours for indirect staffWe are now seeking a CNC Milli/ Turn setter to work for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Poole. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC milli/ turn machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision engineering products.Responsibilities:Setting and operating CNC 5 Mill/Turn machines with Fanuc controlsWorking on technical engineering drawingsWorking with aluminium and stainless steelAbility to use measuring toolsEnsuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres.Requirement:Ideally, previous experience in setting and operating CNC Milli/ Turn machines with Fanuc or Haas controlsAbility to change tools and adjust offsetsAbility to use measuring toolsWorking knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed is an advantage but not essentialIf you think this is appropriate opportunity, please email your CV to or contact Marta on 01453 852 542Omega is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
