Internal Logistic SupervisorT his is a fantastic opportunity for an Internal Logistic Supervisor to join an established family-owned business in Leeds. The company is a leading manufacturer, their flagship product saves money, energy and offers an innovative solution to the worldwide challenge of reducing energy wastage. The Role: The role will lead the material handling team to ensure the efficient supply of raw materials, transformers and equipment to our internal manufacturing operations.Duties include:Coordinate daily logistics and transportation activities.Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.Track deliveries and resolve delivery-related issues.To lead the Materials Handling team to achieve all targets regarding efficiency, quality, safety and cost.Work with the planning and logistic team to develop internal logistics solutions (goods in, kitting, issuing, delivering to line) thus ensuring manufacturing bays experience zero shortages.Ensuring ERP system fully reflects all transformer movements and locations.Liaise with logistics to manage the safe delivery and availability of transformers through effective planning.Monitor Overall Operative Effectiveness, Efficiency and Performance with a focus on continuous improvement.To work within an ethos of continuous improvement to develop a right first-time culture and promote a safe working environment.To support, mentor and lead the Material Controllers.Skills, Knowledge & Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain activities.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Good communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and logistics management systems.High level of IT and data management competency, ERP/PM toolsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.High level of organisational and planning skillAbility to deliver efficient solutions, with a strong customer focus.Sound leadership qualities to motivate, support and manage staff within a fast moving, projects driven manufacturing environment.Ability to build and develop effective teams.Detailed understanding of internal logistics solutions and continuous improvement.Salary and benefits: Salary negotiable dependent on experience25 days holiday per year plus 8 bank holidaysCompany Profit Share SchemeHealthcare & Wellbeing schemeEmployee Assistance programmePensionEV salary sacrifice and EV on-site chargingParking on siteTPBN1_UKTJ
