Production Operative Days/Nights (12 Hour Shifts | 4 on / 4 off Rotation)Location: On-siteJob Type: Full-time, PermanentPay: £12.71 per hour + night shift allowance + yearly bonus, increases with training and serviceAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Extrusion Production Operative to join our night shift team within a busy manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in producing high-quality extruded products, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction DutiesOperate, set up, start up, and shut down extrusion production linesManufacture, package, and test extruded productsMonitor production processes and troubleshoot issues as they ariseReceive, handle, and process raw materialsComplete stock counts and maintain accurate inventory recordsRecord production data and ensure accurate product bookingOperate fork lift trucks (where trained)Support any additional operational tasks as requiredQuality ControlIdentify, report, and help resolve any quality non-conformancesCarry out hourly quality checks and document resultsEnsure only approved, high-quality product is packaged and dispatchedTake ownership of product quality and continuous improvementHealth & SafetyFollow all site health & safety procedures and trainingUse equipment safely and responsibly at all timesReport hazards, risks, or safety concerns immediatelyEnsure safe working practices are always maintainedHousekeeping & StandardsMaintain high housekeeping standards in line with 5S and TPM practicesKeep work areas clean, organised, and free from wasteSupport a safe, efficient, and compliant working environmentWhat Were Looking ForMinimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (required)Forklift experience (desirable but not essential training can be provided)Strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work night shifts on a rotating 4 on / 4 off patternReliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented approachTraining & DevelopmentFull training will be provided across all aspects of the extrusion department, including machinery operation, quality standards, and safety procedures.BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay (£12.71+)12-hour shift allowanceYearly bonus schemeCompany pensionCycle to work schemeOn-site / free parkingCompany events and wellbeing initiativesTPBN1_UKTJ
