Maintenance Operative / Handyperson / Multi Skilled Labourer Nottingham, NG1, £15ph + Hol pay, 6-8 weeks weeks, Tools providedYou will play a key role in ensuring the building is safe, compliant, and well maintained for residents. This is a hands-on role involving general repairs, inspections, and compliance checks, while supporting the wider site team with day-to-day maintenance tasks.Key Responsibilities Carry out general building repairs and maintenanceMove furniture and mattresses as requiredSilicone sinks, shower trays, and kitchen worktopsPainting and decoratingFix, build, and assemble furnitureReplace lightbulbs and carry out basic lighting maintenanceFix door handles and other minor fixturesBasic plumbing tasks, including unblocking sinks, toilets, and drainsDescale shower headsConduct routine room checks and inspections of communal areasEnsure communal areas are maintained to a high standardComplete statutory checks and maintain accurate testing recordsRespond correctly to Health & Safety matters and report incidents as requiredMonitor the electronic maintenance reporting system dailyLog, update, and close maintenance tasks accuratelyMaintain stock levels of tools, spare parts, and suppliesEnsure all tasks are completed within agreed timeframesIdeal Candidate Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a relevant tradeConfident working independently and managing general repairsGood understanding of Health & Safety requirementsOrganised, methodical, and reliableComfortable using basic IT systems (Outlook, Word, Excel desirable)Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitudeThis is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional seeking immediate temporary work.(ritzrecempbus)TPBN1_UKTJ
