Year 6 LSALocation: Reading, BerkshireStart Date: September 2026Contract: TemporaryHours: Full-time, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)Pay: £95 - £105 per day (dependent on experience)Year 6 LSA - September 2026 StartWe are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 LSA to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Reading from September 2026.This is an exciting opportunity for a Year 6 LSA to support pupils during a crucial stage of their primary education, helping them prepare for SATs and their transition to secondary school while building confidence and independence.The RoleAs a Year 6 LSA , you will:Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.Provide targeted support in English and Mathematics.Assist pupils with varying learning needs to access the curriculum.Help prepare classroom resources and contribute to a positive learning environment.Encourage pupils' independence, resilience, and wellbeing.Support positive behaviour in line with the school's policies.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 2.A positive, patient, and nurturing approach.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.This Year 6 LSA position is full-time, working five days per week on a temporary contract starting in September 2026.
